A Brand Photo Session with Evelina Plastic Surgery – Dr. Katherine Santosa’s Stunning New Atlanta Practice

A Space Designed with Intention

When I first took brand photos for Dr. Katherine Santosa a few years ago, she was preparing to launch her vision of a boutique plastic surgery practice rooted in compassion, expertise, and aesthetics. That first personal brand photo session was focused on creating a foundational gallery of images she could use to introduce herself and her mission online.

Fast forward to today—Katherine has brought that vision to life with the launch of Evelina Plastic Surgery in Atlanta. It was such a joy to capture this next chapter of her journey, update her brand photos and to see how she uses her images.

This was our second full brand session together, and walking into her new space was nothing short of inspiring. The practice is not only a reflection of Katherine’s talent and drive but also her impeccable eye for design. Every detail of Evelina’s interior was thoughtfully curated. It was clear that the space was designed to be both calming and elevated—a true extension of the care and attention she offers to her patients.

We began the session by documenting the practice itself—interior design photos that showcase the warm, modern aesthetic of the waiting area, consultation rooms, and surgical spaces. These images are such an important part of brand storytelling, just like the environmental portraits I often create during my brand photography sessions for small businesses in Atlanta.

Capturing Katherine’s Passion and Personality

Of course, the heart of the brand session was all about people and Evelina Plastic surgery Atlanta team. We captured updated portraits of Katherine—confident, kind, and smiling as always. There’s something incredibly dynamic about her energy. She’s approachable and warm, but you can also feel the intensity of her passion and the drive it took to open her own practice.

Professional portraits like these help business owners show up with both credibility and warmth—something I talk more about in this post on what makes a strong personal brand photo.

Familiar Faces, Natural Moments

One of the things that made this session extra special was the familiarity. I already knew everyone on her team from the headshots I had taken for them when they each joined Evelina. If you’re curious about how I approach team portraits, you can read more about my approach to professional headshots here

That camaraderie made the behind-the-scenes shots feel even more natural. We captured Katherine working with her team members, interacting with a (mock) patient, and moving through the practice in a way that felt true to her daily rhythm. These images will help her communicate the full experience of working with Evelina Plastic Surgery—not just what it looks like, but what it feels like.

Introducing B-Roll Video to the Brand Photo Experience

For the first time in my brand photography work, I also added B-Roll video to the session. Video content has become such a powerful storytelling tool, and I’m thrilled that Katherine now has short, natural clips she can use across her website and social media to bring even more life to her brand.

These video add-ons pair beautifully with still photography and are part of the expanded brand session experience I'll describe in more in detail in an upcoming post about [adding video and B-roll to brand sessions].

This addition truly elevated the Evelina Plastic Surgery brand photography Atlanta experience—creating a complete visual library that supports her website, social media, and patient education.
Katherine, thank you for trusting me once again to help bring your vision to life. It’s been an honor to grow alongside your journey—from solo founder to leading a full, thriving team in a stunning space of your own.

Sessions like these are exactly why I love offering brand photography sessions —because helping passionate professionals show up confidently and authentically in their business is work that truly matters.

A Partnership That Grows With Her Vision

People often ask me what are the differences between headshots and branding pictures. So let’s dedicate a full blog to it!

Headshots and branding photo sessions are very different, in terms of preparation, content, duration and price! They have one common thing tough. Headshots are included in a personal branding session but your personal brand session will include so much more than that.

You are going to get a lot lot of information here under but don’t worry, I have resources to help you through both your headshots and branding journeys!

HEADSHOTS PICTURES

I usually deliver 3 to 5 high resolution edited images after a headshots session. The pictures will mostly be taken from the waist up. You can select two outfits, combine standing and sitting poses, in one location. I will dedicate another blog to the different headshot backgrounds options!

BRANDING OR PERSONAL BRANDING PICTURES ARE VERY DIFFERENT

A personal branding session is 100% customized to your needs. Each element, such as the outfits you will wear, the locations we will select and your brand colors, will be carefully studied. They will help showcase the uniqueness of your brand and personality.

It will include headshots, your work environment, your business vibe, some lifestyle shots, pictures showing your personality, your creative process, details… and so MUCH more!

As your session is unique, planning is crucial. It helps me understand what you need, your business, your brand, your goals and the messages you want to share. I will also get a better view on how you will use the images, what makes you unique, who your ideal client is.

On the session day, my goal is to understand your brand so well that I can articulate everything as if it was my own.

Personal Brand session typically last half a day or a full day and include different outfits and locations.

It also includes a commercial right to the images. It means that you can use all the high and web resolution edited images for any business communication without restriction.
